Along with our Woodland Bird Photography Workshop we are now pleased to announce our evening Wildlife Photography Workshop at our private wood on the borders of East and West Sussex. An opportunity to capture Tawny Owls and Badgers in this amazing natural woodland environment. All you require is a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a telephoto zoom lens of 300mm focal length or higher. The area is setup with a number of speedlight’s that you will activate with a wireless trigger that is attached to the hotshoe on top of your camera body. Not that there is ever a usual night when it comes to wildlife but usually one of the Tawny Owls is first to arrive about 20 minutes after dark and they make regular visits throughout the evening. The badgers arrive at various times alone or in a group of up to 4 and spend time exploring the area and climbing fallen logs and drinking from the pond. Ashley our professional photographer/trainer will be at your side throughout the evening, except when he’s making teas and coffee’s! He will guide you on the most appropriate camera and focus settings and help you to capture some wonderful images in this amazing location. Only two participants for each evening so you will have plenty of opportunities to photograph these wonderful creatures.
